Privacy Policy

SoraData (we, us) is an Australian business. This policy explains how we handle personal information, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

How to contact us

This site does not list a contact email or street address. For privacy questions, access requests, or corrections, use the form on the homepage and say that your message is a privacy request.

What we collect from the trial form

When you request a trial, we collect:

• First name and last name
• Work email
• Phone number (if you provide one)
• Business name
• Number of stores

The form also uses Google reCAPTCHA, which may collect technical data such as IP address and device signals. That collection is described in Google's privacy policy.

What we may collect if you become a customer

To run the service we may later receive:

• Camera-system credentials, so we can connect to your existing cameras or NVR
• POS and related sales data, so we can calculate conversion
• Account details for the dashboard, including when you use Google Sign-In

How we use personal information

We use it to respond to trial and demo requests, set you up, provide the analytics service, operate and secure the dashboard, and communicate with you about the product.

Video and analytics

We process video from your cameras for analytics only — for example, visitor counts. We do not store raw footage. Analytics data (counts, timestamps, alerts) is stored in the cloud. Video stays on your NVR.

Google services

We use Google reCAPTCHA on the homepage form and Google Sign-In on the dashboard. Those services are provided by Google and are subject to Google's terms and privacy policy.

We also use Google Analytics 4 on this marketing website to understand how visitors use our public pages (for example which guides are read and whether someone reaches the trial form). Google may receive technical data such as IP address, device and browser information, and page URLs. That collection is described in Google's privacy policy. This website analytics is separate from the floor-analytics product we provide to customers using their cameras.

Storage, security, and disclosure

Analytics data is stored in the cloud. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We do not sell personal information. We may share it with service providers who help us operate the product (for example hosting, or Google for reCAPTCHA, Sign-In, and Analytics), or if the law requires it. Some of those providers may store or process information outside Australia.

Access and correction

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Use the homepage form to make that request.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top will change when we do.
